బతుకమ్మ పండుగ ప్రకృతిని అరాధించే పెద్ద పండుగ. ఈ పండుగ తెలంగాణ సంస్కృతికి ప్రతీక. పూలు బాగా వికసించే కాలంలో, జలవనరులు సమృధ్ధిగా పొంగి పొరలే సమయంలో, భూమితో, జలంతో, మానవ అనుబంధాన్ని సంబరంగా జరుపుకునే వేడుకే ఈ బతుకమ్మ పండుగ. మనిషికి ప్రకృతికి ఉన్న అనుబంధాన్ని చాటి చెబుతూ ప్రకృతిని కొలిచే వారసత్వాన్ని మనందరం అందిపుచ్చుకుందాం, మన భావితరాలకు అందిద్దాం.
